Old Rip Pageant 2022

Description

Anyone living in, attend school at, and/or with family connections to Eastland and/or Eastland County are invited to participate in the Old Rip Beauty Pageant on Saturday, September 3rd at 10:00AM in the Lumberyard Event Center. Please note, the Old Rip Pageant winners must be able to attend Old Rip Parade at 11:00AM on October 1st to represent the Eastland Chamber of Commerce. 

Online registration opens on July 1st at www.eastlandchamber.com/ripfest/ or you can get a physical entry form at the Chamber Office at 209 W. Main St. in Eastland.  

This is a natural pageant! Glitz is not allowed (re-touched photos, mouthpieces, hair pieces, false eyelashes, etc. are forbidden). 

Glitter is prohibited inside the Lumberyard Event Center (the space used for the event and getting ready). 

All contestants should wear formal attire for the pageant. (No need to purchase a specialty dress. Sunday best to semi-formal is acceptable.) 

Judging will be based on personality, having fun, speaking ability (if applicable), and beauty.  

Age Divisions are:
- Girls: Baby Miss (0-11 months), Tiny Miss (1-3 yrs.), Petite Miss (4-6 yrs.), Little Miss (7-9 yrs.), Junior Miss (10-13 yrs.), and Teen Miss (14-18 yrs.)

-Boys: 1 division unless we have multiple entries with large age gaps.

Participants can arrive as early as 9:00AM and get ready in the event venue restrooms/changing area.

We will have a quick run through practice at 9:30AM and the Old Rip Pageant will begin right at 10:00AM.

Family, friends, and general members of the community are encouraged to attend the Old Rip Pageant to show their support for our contestants. This event is FREE to the public to attend and doors will open at 9:45AM for the general public.
